Frozen CO

Asking on behalf of an 11 year old student. Would carbon monoxide in solid(frozen) form be poisonous?

The CO wouldn't stay frozen if you ingested it. Molecules would rapidly come off the frozen block, get into your bloodstream, bind to your hemoglobin in the red cells, keep them from carrying oxygen to your cells, and thus kill you.
