Does weight vary anywhere on the Earth? (In other words, is the gravitational pull stronger or weaker anywhere on the Earth?)

A:
Sure, 'g' varies a little from place to place, depending on geological features, as well as between the equator and the poles (the Earth isn't quite spherical). Accurate measurements of g are sometimes used to help find hidden features. I bet some of the data are available from NASA or some other government agency.
