Communication With Extraterrestial Civilations.

Most recent answer: 07/08/2014

Q:
Would it be possible for a civilization in extra or intergalactic space to communicate employing positronic radio as a tool to transmit and recieve, if not currently, but perhaps in the future. It's an avenue that I'm not certain which may have not yet been attempted. A 'morse'code attempt for beginning. Thanks much, Stephen.

Hello Stephen,

I'm not sure what you mean by positronic radio but I'm sure that its signal does not travel faster than the speed of light.  It's going to be tough to have a serious conversation with someone or thing on the nearest star Proxima Centauri since its distance is 4.2 light years away.

Nevertheless people have questioned  "Is there life out there? " ,   An ambitious program called SETI has been set up to search for signals coming from outer space.   See for information on this project and  if you want to participate.
