Hi there!!

Physics is basically a science that tells us why things work. Physics tells us about why objects move or why they don’t move. It helps people understand why electricity can make things turn on. Everything you see and do, physics can help you understand why it happens.

Physics is the foundation for the other sciences. It does not cover everything in the other sciences though. Let’s take a computer as an example. Physics can explain why you can see the letters on the screen. It explains why you can hear sound from your speakers. However, it doesn’t say how those pretty pictures appear on the screen or what happens when you turn the computer on.
