Amusement Park Science

How does science play a role in amusement parks?

Science plays a role everywhere! Science is very important for all different kinds of construction since anything that you build has to be able to stand up to nature. For instance, if an archetect didn't have a good understanding of science, the buildings they designed might fall down. In amusement parks, there is science in every single thing there.

In particular, there is a lot of cool science in how they build roller coasters. To see what I mean, check out http://www.madehow.com/Volume-6/Roller-Coaster.html. You can design different roller coasters and change the laws of physics to see how it all works together. It's very cool!
