What shape does a submarine window must have in order that the water pressure doesnt break it?

The strongest shape for withstanding water pressure
is a sphere. This is because water pushes the same amount on every side
of an object. A sphere is an object that has the same shape on every
'side', so there are no weak points. So a window in a submarine would
be shaped like a sphere, or a section of one. (Unless the submarine was
never going to go very deep, in which case the windows wouldn't need to
be as strong.)
For another way that the spherical shape is used in building a submarine, take a look at the answer to Submarines and Water Pressure
