Weight is the term used for the magnitude of the force of gravity
acting on an object. If you are in outer space, not close to any stars
or planets or other sources of gravity, your weight would be zero.Mass
is the intrinsic property of an object that determines what the
acceleration of the object will be if a force is applied to it. An
object has the same mass no matter where it is. Your mass is the same
on the surface of the earth as it is in the farthest reaches of outer
