How can you proove that heat travels?

Nida -
We know that heat travels because if you heat something up in one
place, the temperature will go up in other places too. For instance, if
you light a candle, the air inside the candle flame will (obviously)
get very hot. But if you put your hand a few inches away from the
flame, it feels hot there too. This is because the heat travels from
the flame to your hand. The same thing happens when you stand near a
bonfire or an electric heater.
