A:
Deionized water consists almost entirely of water. The deionization removes almost all the mineral salts. However, depending on the starting material, there can be traces of the other chemicals in it and perhaps some of the deionizing resins. If it's been exposed to air there will also be some dissolved CO
2 and its ionized versions.
