Q:
Hello, if a very warm body (i.e from lying in very hot water or alternatively doing lots of exercise immedaitely before) were to lie on a block of ice, would the imprint of the body melt faster than the rest of the ice?

A:
Obviously yes. However, since the latent heat of the ice-water
transition is very large making an impression a couple inches deep
would require so much heat that whoever tried it would be in serious
danger from hypothermia (getting too cold).
