With today's technology how much electric power could the average human generate over a one hour period using mechanical means, i.e. high geared stationary bike or some other like device?

A:
The technology for converting mechanical power to electrical power (electrical generators) is very efficient. Therefore the limit is just how much power a person can generate. I've seen numbers like 100 to 300 Watts for generators hooked up to bicycles. The range of powers comes from the range of people, not devices.
