If we did end up unifying all the forces of nature, it probably wouldn't mean any great technological discovery, right? My thoughts being that even if we do unify the forces, the energy and range of unification will be too short and too high to be of any use. So mankind can pat itself on the back, but no George Jetson-esque hover cars from understanding gravity, huh?
