Q:
Why do juices and soda get sticky when you spill them and they dry as opposed to water?
Thanks

A:
They have sugar, and that doesn't evaporate. Under ordinary room
conditions, it equilibrates with the moist air to leave a slightly
watery (sticky) residue.
