How do people make distilled water? How do those minerals leave the water?
wea ridge middle school, indiana
The minerals don't leave the water. They stay behind in the liquid
water, while some of the water turns into vapor. The distilled water is
made from re-condensing the vapor.
We just answered another related question about why salt stays in
liquid water, so you can look at it for more information. It should be
posted the same day as yours.
