Did we Land on the Moon? Scientific Evidence?

So, I want to present a larger question...Did we really land on the moon? I believe we did, but I'm looking for hard distinct SCIENTIFIC evidence...

The answer is yes. For example: The astronauts of Apollo 11 left a reflecting mirror there to monitor the distance of the moon to the earth. What one does is to shoot a short laser burst, measure the time it takes to come back, and determine twice the distance by multiplying by the speed of light, c. It has been working for more than 40 years.

for a description. Minor variations give us information about perturbations of the moon's orbit about the earth. This seems like pretty good SCIENTIFIC evidence. I heard recently that the powers that be will shut down the facility because it takes too much money to run it. There are many more examples.

My father-in-law was lucky enough to get some of the moon rocks to experiment with. They were different from ones found on earth.
Of course, in general, it's hard to test everything yourself, so one must rely on what other people say. Even though that can lead you astray sometimes, there's no way to entirely avoid it.
