I am doing a science project to determine which one freezes faster water or milk. I haven't found any credible sources at all. Do you have any information that I can use (i.e. books, newspaper article or someone that I can interview for the project.

We are great believers in do-it-yourself. It doesn't take much time to get two cups, one with water and the other with milk. Stick them into the freezer and check them every ten or fifteen minutes and see for yourself. Keep a record and write down the time of observation and the state of the two liquids. Be sure to let them stand at room temperature for an hour or so in order they start out at the same temperature. Let us know the results.
And then try the same thing switching the cup positions, because freezers aren't completely uniform. Mike W.
