Q:
I was wondering...if it was possible to go faster than the speed of light, is it true that time would be distorted? And if it is, then how? Thanks...

A:
No.   Einstein's theory of special relativity explained many curious physics phenomena when he formulated it.  One of the predictions was that you can't go faster than the speed of light.  All,  and there are a lot of them, experiments that have been performed confirm this conclusion.   You can read about it at    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_relativity
