Q:
Inspired by the much publicised happenings at CERN I chose to investigate the "Origins of Mass" for my A-level Physics. I found myself stumped however when trying to find a satisfactory explanation of how the Higgs Mechanism operates without having to wallow through pages of algebra. I know its a tricky one but any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
