Learn more physics!
Inspired by the much publicised happenings at CERN I chose to investigate the "Origins of Mass" for my A-level Physics. I found myself stumped however when trying to find a satisfactory explanation of how the Higgs Mechanism operates without having to wallow through pages of algebra. I know its a tricky one but any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

To really understand the Higgs mechanism does require lots of algebra. However, there is a web site that tries to explain it in a pictorial way. Please take a look at the web site: http://www.pparc.ac.uk/ps/bbs/bbs_mass_hm.asp
