How close have scientists gotten to absolute 0?
Marlton, NJ, USA
The coldest anybody in my building has achieved is about 0.00000001 K (10-8
K). That was reached by researchers in Brian DeMarco\'s group here at the University of Illinois. I don\'t think that\'s quite the world\'s record, but it\'s pretty close.
