I understand that putting lemon batteries in series will increase the potential, or voltage, but what effect will putting say three series parallel to one another be?
Also, if I know how many lemons I need to get the voltage I want, and how many lemons I need to get the amps I want, how do I figure out the relationship between the two so as to setup them up in series and parallel?

Putting three in parallel will triple the amount of current that can be delivered before the voltage starts to drop much.
If you need say 3 in series to get enough voltage, and say 10 in parallel to get enough current, I'm afraid you will nedd a pack of 30 (3x10) to get a usable battery.
