The currently accepted scientific opinion is that both humans and dinosaurs evolved over many millions of years from very basic chemical constituents present in the early earth epoch. The evolutionary path is quite complex but fossils found in many locations all point to a time sequence of events that make sense. Since our sun and the planet earth have been around for four billion years there has been plenty of time for this process to have occurred.
