Q:
what is a neutrino
- Liam
Kirkby school, england
A:
Neutrinos include several related types of particles which have very low rest masses, no electrical charges, and spin of 1/2. Some neutrinos are produced in the nuclear reactions in the Sun. They interact very weakly with matter, so most neutrinos hitting the earth go right through without doing anything.

There have been many interesting developments in neutrino physics over the last few decades, which we could try to describe if you want further information.
