Los Alamos National Laboratory's Bradbury Science Museum Los Alamos, NM, United States
90 minute drive of Los Alamos
The Bradbury Science Museum's Science on Wheels is a program from Los Alamos National Laboratory that brings hands-on science activities to students at their schools in northern New Mexico. Each student in the classroom is an active participant in these activities using science equipment provided by the museum and guided by museum staff. Each program lasts 50 minutes, and we visit from four to six classes at a school in one day with that program. Science on Wheels can travel to schools within a 90-minute drive of the Bradbury Science Museum. The classroom teacher must be present during the entire activity. We will bring all needed equipment. It's all FREE, but registration is required in September. Registration information is available on our website at: http://www.lanl.gov/museum/wheels.shtml.
