K-12 Science 2 Schools Traveling Science Programs: Wild City!

San Francisco Bay Area, within 45 miles of the City

The California Academy of Sciences Outreach programs bring the natural world right into your classroom! We offer unique hands-on opportunities to learn more about science, organisms, and natural history by sharing artifacts, specimens, and live animals with you. All courses are taught by Academy educators and are 30 minutes in length. These standards-based classes are available for students in K-5th grades. There is a 2-class requirement per site (same day site visit) with a maximum of 20 students per class. Classes are $50 per 30-minute session, with some scholarships available. All classes must be pre-paid and booked at least 2 months in advance. Fees are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by CAS.
